Current Donation Accounts

One of FRRR’s fundamental tenets is that locals are the best people to make the important decisions about what is needed in their community. But sometimes, they need just a little help.

In addition to our granting programs, perhaps the most tangible way we enable communities is through Donation Accounts. These allow rural communities to utilise our DGR status, enabling people to make a tax deductible donation towards their project.

Donation Accounts are categorised in three ways:

FRRR supports rural, regional and remote communities in many different ways via these Donation Accounts. Click on the links in the Case Studies section to read about some of the projects we have helped to make a reality, by lending our DGR status to community groups. The map below illustrates the locations of Donation Accounts across the country.

Current Donation Accounts

The following Donation Accounts are currently open and accepting donations for projects which include infrastructure, social inclusion and social capital, capacity building and disaster recovery. Click on the links below for more information about each account, and to make a donation.

In 2015/16, more than $1.5 million was raised via 31 active accounts through more than 520 donations.
