Grant Calendar

FRRR has a number of grants that open at different times of the year. As most of our grants are recurrent they are generally provided during the same periods each year.

Our event calendar allows you to check the current status of each grant to see what is currently available, and the respective opening and closing dates for each program. Unique program guidelines and application forms are provided for each FRRR program. Lachlan Region Community grants program

The program provided funding for projects that address Education and Young People, Employment and Industry, Community Spirit and Stability or Services and Infrastructure for communities in the Lachlan Shire, NSW. This program has now ended.

Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week Grants

This program helps community groups and their philanthropic supporters to celebrate their partnerships, with $160,000 available in grants of up to $10,000.

Culture, Arts, Tourism & Community Heritage (CATCH)

Grants to support activities in the areas of culture, tourism, arts, history and heritage across rural, regional and remote Australia.

Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities

This program allows cotton farmers in Qld or NSW to nominate a community group in their local area to receive a $5,000 grant. Community members can also suggest a group or project for a farmer to nominate.

ANZ Seeds of Renewal

An ANZ funded program which focuses on enhancing education and employment opportunities in rural, regional and remote areas. Consideration will be given to projects in communities with fewer than 15,000 people.

Caring for Ageing Rural Australians (CARA)

A targeted program designed to benefit and support older people living in small rural and remote communities.

School and Beyond

School and Beyond is designed to help young people affected by the 2009 Victorian bushfires. Organisations that work with young people from fire-affected communities are encouraged to register as School and Beyond program partners.

Back to School (BTS)

National program that helps rural and remote children and young people access quality educational experiences by providing vouchers from Target or local retailers, to students in need, and their families.

Tackling Tough Times Together - Round 6

The Tackling Tough Times Together (TTTT) grant program helps communities access the resources they need to support one another through the drought. This round features grants up to $20,000, with EOIs invited for grants up to $50,000.

REAPing Rewards - Round 6

National program targeting educational outcomes in rural and remote communities. It supports locally-driven projects and programs that directly benefit people up to 18 years of age, and their educators.

Small Grants for Rural Communities (SGRC) - Round 29

Grants for communities in small rural and remote locations in Australia. Priority is given to communities with a population of 10,000 or fewer.

Goulburn Valley - McEwen Foundation

Regional program providing funding for charitable projects for rural communities within the Goulburn Valley district, Victoria.

Gardiner Dairy Foundation Working in Dairy Communities Small Grants

Regional program that aims to strengthen small Victorian dairy communities, to help build their capacity to deal with local issues, and enhance existing community infrastructure.

The Community Group Futures program is aimed at helping not-for-profit organisations affected by the 2009 Victorian bushfires to think beyond day to day operations and look ahead to ensure they can meet ongoing community needs.

Program with the specific focus of providing assistance towards community-strengthening and resilience-building projects for communities affected by the 2009 Victorian bushfires to build strength and capacity for the future.

Innovation for Community Impact (I4CI) - Rd2 - grants up to $50,000

Grants up to $50,000 to help address the needs of children in out-of-home care, vulnerable teens, including young offenders and community members facing domestic violence in selected regional NSW LGAs.

The Repair-Restore-Renew (RRR) grants program helps communities in Qld, NSW, VIC and TAS recover from the fires, floods and cyclones that affected communities during 2013.
