Information Session on flood recovery grants for Creswick - 19 July
The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) will host an information session about its Repair-Restore-Renew (RRR) grant program in Creswick on Thursday 19th July. The RRR program provides grants from $100 and up to $20,000 toward activities that aid community recovery from the 2010-2011 Victorian Floods.
In response to the 2011 Floods, a number of philanthropic Trusts and Foundations donated funds to support the mid-to-long term recovery of regional, rural and remote communities across Australia. FRRR is currently holding funds that were donated specifically to assist with the rebuilding and recovery of the communities of Clunes and Creswick.
FRRR invites community organisations in this flood-affected region to attend the session at the Creswick Senior Citizens Club in Water St, from 3.00-5.00pm. FRRR will provide a presentation about the grant program and staff will be available following the presentation to discuss project ideas and applications.
Community organisations are asked to RSVP by Wednesday 18th July to: firstname.lastname@example.org or freecall 1800 170 020. Program guidelines and application forms are available on the Repair-Renew-Restore pages or by contacting 1800 170 020.
