FRRR promotes the role of philanthropy in natural disaster recovery

Insight is the social policy magazine published by the Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS). In the latest edition - Insight 5: Emergency Management – Trauma and Resilience - FRRR has authored an article on the role philanthropy can play in natural disaster recovery.

FRRR has been working in bushfire affected communities in Victoria since 2009, supporting community recovery efforts with a suite of programs and services. The flood and cyclone events of summer 2010/2011 are now also part of the FRRR Natural Disaster Recovery Program and we are building on the lessons learnt in the bushfire recovery.
