Grants available for the Goulburn Valley

In partnership with the McEwen Foundation managed by ANZ Trustees, FRRR is offering grants of up to $15,000 for charitable projects in the wider Goulburn Valley. Organisations that have deductible gift recipient (DGR) status and are a registered Charitable Organisation are invited to apply.

In keeping with the wishes of the late Lady McEwen, preference will be given to projects that relate to Junior Legacy, Hospitals, Charities and Accommodation which benefits older people.

FRRR CEO, Ms Alexandra Gartmann, says that this funding is specific to the wider Goulburn Valley. “This is a great opportunity for community organisations that are designated as charities, and are DGR endorsed, to obtain funding for critical community projects.”

“This funding is available for projects that benefit rural communities by contributing to their development in social and community welfare, economic, environmental, health, education or cultural areas in the wider Goulburn Valley.”

“I encourage the eligible organisations across the region to apply,” said Ms Alexandra Gartmann. A full list of eligible towns can be found in the guidelines.

To be eligible for consideration, projects must be within the Goulburn Valley district and must be from charitable organisations (Charitable Institution OR Public Benevolent Institution OR Health Promotion Charity) and must have deducible gift recipient status with the Australia Taxation Office.

Application forms, guidelines and further information can be obtained from the McEwen page on this site or by calling 1800 170 020.

Applications can be made by email or post and are due by close of business on 26 October, 2012, with
