FRRR/Australia Post Victoria

Australia Post has formed a partnership with FRRR and contracted FRRR to work on its behalf to fund worthwhile projects in rural and regional centres in Victoria and to address the area of significant need in the following areas:

  • Youth
  • Education - especially literacy,
  • Arts and Culture  

A small grants program for rural and regional Victorian communities will offer grants of between $500-$1,000.

Small, well targeted grants can be useful to rural and regional communities and offer communities the opportunity to find their own ways of benefiting young people.

Stretching the Envelope Guidelines

A small grants program for rural and regional Victorian communities will offer grants of up to $1,000 to benefit people in regional areas who implement community development projects that address issues for young people especially in the areas of education, literacy and arts and culture at the local level.

Australia Post has formed a partnership with FRRR and contracted FRRR to administer its program and work on its behalf to fund worthwhile projects in rural and regional Victoria and to address the areas of priority as determined by Australia Post.

The program aims to be simple, making the application process for a grant as straight forward as possible.

What can be funded?

  • Projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for communities, that contribute to their development in social and community welfare, economic, environmental, health, education or cultural areas, and are for a charitable purpose.
  • Grants will be made in amounts of up to $1,000.
  • Priority will be given to projects that address Youth, Education, Arts and Culture
  • Organisations should have an ABN.
