For every dollar of funding FRRR receives, more than 90 cents is distributed via grant programs. We work hard to keep our administrative costs low, but it does cost money to diligently assess applications, liaise with applicants and follow-up on project outcomes, and to fund our day to day operations. That’s why we charge a small administration fee on donations, as it helps us cover these expenses.
We have some generous partners that support us by providing in-kind or probono support, such as Herbert Smith Freehills, who have been our legal advisers for many years. We welcome any other organisations that would like to support us too.
Some other in-kind donations or professional services that could be of use to FRRR include:
- IT services, hardware and software
- Printing partners for our collateral
- Skilled volunteering
Do you have equipment that would be useful for community groups?
We are also happy to explore opportunities to pass on in-kind donations to community groups, such as the support provided by ANZ’s technology partner, Lenovo. For a number of years, the ANZ Seeds of Renewal program has also offered grants of Lenovo devices to eligible community projects.
There are many other in-kind products and services that would be of value to local community groups too, such as paint, tools, books and educational resources, which could benefit community groups.
If you would like to explore how you could either donate goods or services to FRRR or to community groups, please contact our CEO on (03) 5420 2399 or email us.
