FRRR has announced that it is moving to a new grant from January 2019. Programs will be grouped into three streams, and most small grants programs will be rolled into one program, which is always open for applications. FRRR will continue to support all of the issues it always has.
FRRR has announced 27 community groups will share in $250,000 in community grants, plus a further $12,990 in IT equipment, through the ANZ Seeds of Renewal Program.
The Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation (VFFF) and the Foundation for Rural&Regional Renewal (FRRR) have announced a $5 million, five-year partnership to strengthen a small number of rural, regional and remote communities in New South Wales.
FRRR has awarded 14 grants to community groups across rural, regional and remote Australia to help fund initiatives that will improve mental health support in those communities. In total, thanks to support from CCI Giving, the groups will share $200,000. The projects funded include general information sessions, specific advice services and targeted support services.
As part of the National Agriculture Day celebrations, Bayer today celebrated the hardworking Australian cotton growers who have secured $750,000 for their local communities over the past five years through the Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities (ACFGC) grants program sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer.
FRRR has announced that $17 million is available immediately to community groups in drought-affected communities across the country. Funding comes from the Australian Government, which committed $15million, and a number of other generous philanthropic, corporate and individual donors. Grants of up to $150,000 are available.
The grant recipients for the thirteenth round of the Caring for Ageing Rural Australians (CARA) grant program have been announced. Eleven groups across Victoria will share in $225,000 of grants to improve aged care facilities and support in their communities.
The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) and Philanthropy Australia today release their Leading practice in community and philanthropy partnerships report. The report is based on outcomes conveyed by Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week grant recipients.
FRRR today announced 20 groups will receive grants to implement ideas developed at the 20th Heywire Regional Youth Summit. The communities benefiting from the grants are spread right across Australia, from Alice Springs NT, to Riverside TAS, Theodore QLD, Victor Harbour SA, Orange NSW, Albany WA and Foster VIC.
FRRR is calling on those generously donating to drought relief not to forget that the effects of the drought are felt well beyond the farm gate. CEO Natalie Egleton highlights that those living and working in farming communities that are drought-affected also need support.

The Gardiner Dairy Foundation and FRRR have announced that 27 Victorian dairy community groups have been awarded funds as part of the 2018 Working in Dairy Communities Small Grants program. These often catalytic grants play a vital role in enabling grassroots groups to create strong and vibrant communities.
FRRR has announced more funding for projects supporting the ongoing recovery of communities affected by the 2009 Victorian bushfires. Another 30 groups will share more than $340,000 to support projects that local communities have identified will assist in their ongoing recovery.
FRRR has awarded 104 grants to community groups in small rural and regional communities across Australia. The projects vary from education to environmental studies, leadership training to refrubi9shing community facilities, and health campaigns. All of them are addressing issues that the local community deems important to their wellbeing and prosperity.
The In a Good Place grants program, funded by CCI Giving, the charitable foundation of Catholic Church Insurance (CCI), is open to applicants nationally with grants of up to $20,000 available from an annual pool of $200,000.
We are inviting local not-for-profit and community organisations to apply for one of 30 $5,000 grants. Monsanto Fund's Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities grants program is in its fifth year, distributing over $600,000 to 120 community projects via previous rounds. The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) is encouraging eligible not-for-profit groups in communities most severely impacted by Cyclone Debbie and subsequent flooding in Queensland and New South Wales to apply for grants of up to $15,000 to assist their ongoing recovery.

The next round of FRRR's Small Grants for Rural Communities (SGRC) program is now open. More than $350,000 is available in grants of up to $5,000 to enable local not-for-profit groups to implement projects and activities that strengthen their communities. Priority is given to projects in communities of 10,000 people or fewer.
Ninety-one community groups have been awarded grants totalling $374,740 through FRRR's Small Grants for Rural Communities program.
The Gardiner Dairy Foundation and FRRR will run free grant-seeker workshops in Victorian dairy communities, ahead of the opening of the Working in Dairy Communities Small Grants program. Through this program, grants of up to $5,000 will be available to positively impact those living in Victorian dairy communities.
26 community organisations around regional Australia are the recipients of the 2017 ANZ Seeds of Renewal program. Supported by Lenovo, the program aims to encourage community initiatives that support the sustainability and vibrancy of rural communities.
In December 2017, Community Foundations of Canada (CFC) published a disaster response toolkit titled 'When Disaster Strikes: a Guide for Community Foundations'. The toolkit names FRRR as a 'leader in exploring philanthropy's role and response to disaster.'
Twenty-six not-for-profit groups will share in just under $110,000 thanks to the second round of the Domino's Give for Good small grant program.The funds will help grass-roots organisations to deliver community-led projects that build stronger rural and regional communities across Australia. Projects focus on education or youth initiatives, leadership and entrepreneurship, and improving preparedness and recovery from natural disasters.
