The Foundation for Rural&Regional Renewal (FRRR) has today announced the 21 community groups that will share in $250,000 in grants through the ANZ Seeds of Renewal Program.

There are two founding members who have announced their retirement from the FRRR board today. The Rt Hon Ian Sinclair AC will step down from his role as Chairman, having been at the helm since the organisation's inception in 2000. Bill Kelty AC, who served most recently as Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee, is also retiring, effective immediately.

The Gardiner Dairy Foundation is offering grants of up to $5,000 to not-for-profit groups to strengthen small Victorian dairy communities in Gippsland, Northern Victoria and South West Victoria.The Gardiner Dairy Foundation's -Working in Dairy Communities- Small Grants program, which is delivered through the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR), will provide a total of $120,000 in grant funding in 2019, an increase of $20,000 on the previous year.

FRRR today announced the first grants awarded since the expansion of the Tackling Tough Times Together program, which supports drought-affected communities nationally. Twelve communities now have the resources they need to implement projects they have identified as important.
